What jewelers usually ask
Do I need 3D design skills?
No. The platform creates the design and the 3D model. You just check the reservation and download the production file.
How do I make the piece?
With the STL we give you: it works with castable-resin 3D printers and you can send it to your casting supplier. Solid and hollow versions included.
Who charges the customer?
You do. The customer reserves the piece at the price you set and you take payment in your store as usual.
Can I put it on my own website?
Yes. Besides your page on infame3d.com, you get a snippet to embed the designer in your site.
What happens to my customers' photos?
They're only used to create their design. The gallery only shows designs from customers who agree to it.
What if the customer wants changes?
They can ask for another version instantly, up to 4 per photo. For fine touches, you talk it through as always: you have the file and your workshop.
Do I need a special computer?
No. It works on any computer, tablet or phone with internet. You only download the file when you're ready to make the piece.
Which metals and finishes can I offer?
Sterling silver, gold-plated silver and colored resins. You choose which ones to offer and at what price, and turn off the ones you don't work with.
Does it work for walk-in customers?
Yes. Open your page on a tablet or the counter computer and create the design with the customer right there: they see it in 3D before deciding.
Is there a contract?
No. You pay month to month and can cancel anytime.
